Pele’s Haleakalā

This painting was inspired by the eruption of Mauna Loa volcano on the Big Island in 2022. Pele’s Haleakala was juried into the Hui No’eau visual arts center member’s exhibition 2023.

Thompson Road

A Thompson Road painting adventure. The scene is of a ranch gate and a neighboring avocado tree in bloom. It’s important to have the right size canvas. I love Belgium linen  because of the way paint smoothly goes on it. Happy Trails

The Mill

The mill and the west maui mountains are such a Maui scene. I painted this one with a wonderful friend that I miss so much.
